Shilpkar Law College hosted a special lecture on “Understanding the Constitution in Context” by Dr. Vikramaditya Rathore, an eminent scholar whose work bridges constitutional theory and lived public life.
Speaking to a full hall of students and faculty, Dr. Rathore traced how constitutional text is given meaning through interpretation — by courts, by institutions, and by citizens — and why that ongoing conversation matters for the rule of law.
The session closed with a lively question-and-answer exchange, with students pressing on questions of fundamental rights, federalism, and the role of the judiciary in a changing society.
